So, I’ve returned to work after three days training on Installing & Configuring Vista. The course was good, if not totally targetted at what I’m doing. It was good to get hands-on with Vista and really, a lot is the same as in XP. For me there were enough things different to slow me down and make me think more about what I was doing, but I’m pretty happy with it.
What’s it mean for work? Well, it’s given me an idea of things to look at customising within our Vista build, as well as a few ideas on how to go about it. We used BDD at the end and created a build, which was the same stuff we’ve been doing at work, but I used ImageX, which I hadn’t done.
