I’m definitely NOT a computer person. I got a new computer for xmas and was able to download adobe pro 8.1 but I don’t have my old SN? Every site I search for help with decoding my adobe SN from the cache file might as well be written in some Alien language. Anyway I could offer to pay you to decode it for me?
You might not even need Acrobat nowadays! If you’re creating simple PDF files, you could use Microsoft Office 2007 or newer or a free product like PDFCreator. Windows 10 also has Print to PDF built-in
Yes, I have those but i can’t save only certain pages, delete some, save to jpg etc.
If you’re not using Windows 10, I’d suggest installing PDFCreator, then when you print, just select that as the printer and it’ll create a pdf.
I can print to pdf no problem through windows 10….but adobe pro lets me combine pdf’s, delete certain pages, reorder the pages, save as jpegs and convert to word….very powerful app
I would like you to review my script and tell me what you think:
https://github.com/clementereyes/scripting/blob/master/SOLO_workLogger.HTA
this was to utilize “cut and paste” methods and build a library to access and use for later use.
Looks well laid out and if it does the job you need, fantastic. A couple of things to think about are:
1. If you’re repeating sections of code they might be done better as a function or storing in a variable for use later. For example, there are a few times you’ve used 3 lines to record the timestamp.
2. To further your learning, search for LPad and RPad functions. I think they are a simpler way to implement the leadingZeros function.
